Israel is fast becoming the equivalent of a middle east corporate poison pill.
Something the US administrations seem forced to swallow. I not being a scholar wonder why?
What great and lasting contribution has the state of Israel done for the US or the world?
Where are the humanitarian contributions, the scientific achievement. What exactly has Israel done to deserve the right to attempt to rob and destroy people of the soil from which they were born.
Companies with fat balance sheets take over a company with substantial obligations to forestall corporate raiders.
Israel is the United States Poison Pill in the middle east. Arab states will never forgive the free hand with which the US gives Israel to suppress , assassinate, and annex land and property.
Raise one objection to Israel's action and you are branded an ANTI SEMITE labeled .
This one term and the control it seems to have created is the equivalent of "are you still beating your wife?"
This one vicious selfish nation needs to be brought to account for it's actions with the full round of international sanctions.
Expulsion of diplomats and an immediate convening of an international court for the express purpose of the indictment and prosecution of Israel for crimes against humanity.
The irony of this should not be lost on the average citizen.
This ridiculous pandering to a tiny nation has gone on long enough.
No more weapons no more aid.A complete isolation until Israel begins to treat the Palestinians as EQUAL partners.After all of the killings nothing less than a total repudiation of all of the clearly GENOCIDAL (and I don't use that word lightly )policies Anythng the US needs in the middle east the US can get for itself.I don't see Israeli troops in Iraq(the Mossad is another story)
The Israeli two tiered legal system that confers special rights to JEWS ALONE and not to others is PROOF positive that democracy and equality are simply words in Israel.

On October 12, 1964 Voshkod I was scheduled to orbit for at least five days. Why did it return to earth after 24 hours? Recordings of radio transmissions between Voshkod and ground control indicate that the spacecraft's crew had seen something strange and inexplicable in orbit -- something that terrified them so much that they made a hasty and unscheduled descent from space.
Just what the crew actually did see has never been revealed by the Russians. Probably it never will be. Komarov can no longer help unravel the mystery as he was killed in April 1967 when his Soyuz-I capsule plunged into the earth under unopened parachutes. But he is by no means the only astronaut to sight, and even photograph inexplicable objects in space .. . . . objects which are unlike anything ever put into orbit by Russia or the West. Indeed, some of them are so huge that there was not rocket gear in existence at the time which could have hurled them into space. They are the mystery satellites orbiting the earth and no nation will officially discuss them. The United States even set up its own special committee in the 1960s to gather facts about them but its findings, if any, were never released.
These objects are not to be confused with those often referred to as Bagby's Phantom Moonlets, which according to Bagby have been charted orbiting our planet since about 1947 [see his paper: 'Terrestrial Satellites: Some Direct and Indirect Evidence' pub. 1969 ]. But it was in February 1960 that the first discovery of a mystery satellite first caused a sensation in the U.S. Department of Defense. It was hardly surprising, for the North American Air Defense System's radar tracking facilities had locked on to what appeared to be a satellite weighing at least 15 tons -- far in excess of anything capable of being place"
